Mike Holt, widely recognized as one of America's most knowledgeable and dynamic electrical educators, is committed to the electrical industry. His dedication to electrical training is the result of his own struggles as an electrician looking for a program that would help him succeed in this challenging industry. Mike worked his way up through the electrical trade as an apprentice, journeyman, master electrician, electrical inspector, electrical contractor, electrical designer, and developer of training programs and materials for the electrical industry. Currently a contributing editor to magazines such as Electrical Construction and Maintenance (EC&M), CEE NEWS, and Power Quality, Mike's articles have also appeared in Electrical Design and Installation (EDI) and Electrical Contractor (EC).
Since 1975 Mike has provided custom, in-house seminars for such clients as IAEI, NECA, ICBO, IBM, the 7x24 Exchange, the IEEE, AT&T, Motorola, and the U.S. Navy. He has taught over 1,000 classes on 30 different electrical subjects ranging from alarm installations to exam preparation and voltage drop calculations. Many of Mike's seminars are available on video, DVD, and CDROM and he continues to develop additional courses, seminars, and workshops to meet today's changing needs for individuals, organizations, vocational and apprenticeship training programs.
Since 1982 Mike has been helping electrical contractors improve their business management through both seminars and personal consultations. Mike's extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code, his hands-on experience, and his unique style of presenting information make his products a must for all in the electrical industry.

COMPANY HISTORY
Named after the Native American tribe which historically inhabited this area, Wyandotte Electric Supply opened its doors more than sixty five years ago as a south Detroit, Michigan area supplier of electrical components and appliances. A small converted garage served as our first warehouse in the city of Wyandotte, also referred to as "Downriver" due to its location south or down the Detroit River from the city of Detroit.
Our expansion from a single warehouse facility to multi-branch locations within the last twenty years permits us to service southeastern Michigan and northern Ohio. Each location features experienced outside and inside sales representatives, power and lighting quotation departments, and same day/next day truck delivery service.

We are often asked how we got into this business. In late '96 we started looking for a shopping cart for a separate project. The search lasted to December '97 when we found EasyCart. ( Back then the problem was not so much trying to figure out which shopping cart to choose - it was seemingly impossible to find one that worked! )
Finding EasyCart was like a warm bath on a cold day or a cool drink on a hot one. We had probably spent $15,000 on various software etc. since the early '80's and my experience was probably a lot like yours - most of the time we were just happy to get the software to do what we needed and often were quite disappointed.
The EasyCart experience was just the opposite - not only was it as simple to operate as we had hoped - but it continually soothed us with unexpected happy surprises. We were so taken with the product that we asked the original programmer, Craig Sims, if we could help him sell it. That was the start of our relationship with EasyCart.
Because of Mr. Sims newfound fame - resulting from winning the National Newspaper Association award - he was so sought after that he became too busy to handle all his responsibilities. At that point he decided to sell EasyCart - and we were the buyers. (Aug. 1998)
Since then we - with the help of Mr.. Sims and a new team of programmers - have continued to improve EasyCart and we are now enjoying some success. We look forward to working with you and continuing to compete in this exciting new Internet World.
